Catholic Men Association

The Catholic Men Society is a Catholic lay organization devoted to support the spiritual, social, and moral development of men within the Catholic Church. The society encourage men to actively participate in church life, deepen their faith, and become exemplary Christians, husbands, fathers, and leaders. We also foster a sense of community and brotherhood among men, helping them to live out their Catholic faith in all aspects of life regardless wherever we find ourselves.  The idea of Catholic men society dates back centuries, but the modern concept, organized groups of Catholic men meeting regularly for spiritual growth, brotherhood, and service has its roots in the 19th century. These societies arose as a response to secularism, industrialization, anti-Catholic hostility, and the need to support men in their faith and roles as leaders. The dealings of catholic men association started in the later part of 2001 and Men society within Adweso parish was established in the year 2000 and inaugurated in the year 2004 for official recognition.

Mission and Service

Finally, a Catholic man is called to mission.

• To serve the poor.

• To protect the innocent.

• To evangelize at home, at work, in our communities.

• To be Christ’s hands and feet in the world.

The Church doesn’t just expect you to “be good.”
She expects you to do good, to live a life of purpose, sacrifice, and love.

How to Become a Member (Requirements of Membership) 

Membership is open to any practicing Catholic who:

Ø  Is willing to serve the poor and needy in humility and compassion.

Ø  Attends meetings regularly and participates in activities

Ø  Completes an orientation session on the Society mission and values.

Ø  Demonstrates moral integrity and active parish life

Ø  A member shall be of good financial standing.
