Parish Youth Council

The Parish Youth Council of St. Dominic Catholic Church is a dynamic leadership body composed of young people passionate about spiritual growth, service, and community engagement. Rooted in the values of the Catholic faith, the council serves as a vibrant platform for youth to actively participate in the life of the Church while nurturing their talents, leadership, and moral character. Through prayer, collaboration, and action, the Council fosters a welcoming environment where young people thrive and contribute meaningfully to parish life.

Brief Objectives of the PYC

·   Promote spiritual development of parish youth through liturgical participation, catechesis, and retreats.

·         Organize and support youth-led initiatives including charitable outreaches, cultural events, and educational programs.

·         Encourage active participation in Church activities and foster a sense of belonging among young parishioners.

·         Develop leadership skills and empower youth to take up roles within the Church and the wider community.

·         Facilitate dialogue between parish youth and parish pastoral council ensuring their voices and aspirations are represented.

The current Parish council was inaugurated on 25th December, 2022 by Rev. Fr. Frederick Obeng, SVD.
