Ladies Auxiliary No 547, KSJI 

The organization and formation of this Order Ladies Auxiliary, Knight of St. John International at Adweso St. Dominic Parish stemmed from some parishioners who joined the Order at St. George Cathedral, Koforidua (i.e. Our Lady of Perpetual Help No. 341)

Upon some consultations in St. Dominic, these ladies got some perspective and therefore decided to open a commandery in St. Dominic in the year 2006. Consequently. They applied for a CHARTER from the Headquarters in the United States of America (USA) through the then Deputy Organizer, Noble Sister Elizabeth Atiemo.

By God's grace, the CHARTER was granted them and these Ladies sought transfer from their "Mother Auxiliary". Our Lady of Perpetual Help 341, to join the PROSPECTIVE, who are the Charter members for the inauguration of the new ST. DOMINIC LADIES AUXILIARY. These transfers were granted on 8th of August 2007 and the Sisters are:

The Order needed an experienced Sister who could steer the affairs of the Order and teach the aims and objectives of the order. Fortunately, Noble Sister Monica Mensah Baba was posted to head St. Dominic Basic Schools and she happens to be a Sister from Mary Queen of Saints Ladies Auxiliary 347, Agormanya. She eventually became the first President. She accepted and fifteen (15) Sisters were also recruited from the church. The initiation of founding and Charter members and the installation of Officers was done on Friday, the 31 of August, 2007.

St. Dominic Ladies Auxiliary 547 was inaugurated on the 8th of September, 2007 and the first batch of Officers were:

The order has Sister Mercy Angmor as its second President and

Sis. Theresa Amparbeng as its third President

followed by Sister Esther Klutse.
