Knights and Ladies of the Altar in St. Dominic Catholic Church

The Knights of the Altar of St. Dominic Catholic Church are a devoted fraternity of altar servers who embody reverence, discipline, and spiritual dedication. Serving at the heart of liturgical celebrations, these young men and women are entrusted with the sacred duty of assisting the clergy during Mass and other sacramental rites. Their presence at the altar reflects humility, holiness, and a commitment to deepening their relationship with Christ through service.

Mission

To foster a community of faithful altar servers who uphold the sanctity of the liturgy through respectful service, spiritual formation, and unwavering commitment to the Church's sacramental life.

Vision

To cultivate a generation of spiritually grounded leaders who serve with dignity, grow in holiness, and inspire others through their devotion to Christ and the Church.

Membership Qualifications

To be admitted as a Knight of the Altar, a candidate must:

• Be a baptized and practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.

• Demonstrate consistent participation in parish life, especially through the sacraments

• Show discipline, respect, and willingness to learn liturgical norms and roles.

• Undergo basic liturgical training provided by the parish's coordinating chaplain or liturgist.

• Commit to regular service at Mass and other ecclesiastical events

• Candidate must be 10 years and above.
